Is Multi-Defense UV Protect SPF50+ compatible with other Artistry™ skincare products?

Yes, Multi-Defense UV Protect SPF50+ was created to be aesthetically compatible with other Artistry Skin Nutrition™ and Artistry™ products. However, when adding a product to your skincare routine, it is always a good practice to only introduce one new product at a time, and to wait at least one week before introducing any other new products. Since our formulas are powerful, we recommend that you personalize your skincare routine based upon your own perceived skin sensitivity.

Can I use Multi-Defense UV Protect SPF50+ with my current Artistry Skin Nutrition™ regimen?

Yes! Multi-Defense UV Protect SPF50+ is an essential part of your Artistry Skin Nutrition™ regimen. Every morning, apply Multi-Defense UV Protect SPF50+ as the last step in your AM skincare regimen (Cleanse, Tone, Treat, Moisturize, SPF).

How do I use the product, and how long will it last me?

Apply evenly to face and neck daily. Use after a moisturizer as the last step in skincare. Avoid eye area. Use your SPF moisturizer every morning.

When it comes to infrared damage, are all red lights bad for my skin?

No. In fact, emerging science in the field of phototherapy and regenerative medicine suggests that visible red light exposure at proper dosages can be beneficial to the skin.

Infrared radiation is different. Along with UV rays and blue light, it is a significant part of the total radiation that reaches from the sun to the earth (and your skin). Infrared is invisible to the human eye, and it’s what gives sunlight its heat. Due to its lower frequency, infrared rays can penetrate much deeper into skin than UV light. At high enough exposure levels, infrared radiation can activate MMPs, enzymes in skin which can damage collagen and contribute to wrinkle formation—similarly to UV rays.
