Do your usual Artistry skin care routine.

Begin your makeup look by applying the Cushion Foundation. Using the applicator provided, press down lightly onto the cushion sponge to capture the product. Coverage may be customized based on the amount of pressure used.

Note: Apply very little pressure on first use as the cushion sponge will be fully saturated with product.

For best results, apply product in thin layers. Gently dab product onto the face, blending the formula outwards from the center. Use a patting motion, not a wiping motion. Pat evenly onto the skin until desired coverage is achieved.

Reapply throughout the day to touch up makeup as desired.

Once empty, save the compact and replace with foundation refill.

What type of coverage does this foundation provide?
Artistry Future Glow Cushion Foundation provides medium to full, buildable, radiant coverage that helps brighten the complexion. Shades are particularly complementary to yellow skin tones.

What is SPF and what does a higher number mean?
SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor, the global standard measurement of a product’s ability to protect against UVB rays. The number that follows the SPF, such as SPF 30 or SPF 50+, is closely related to how many times more protection the product offers over bare skin. Think of a product marked SPF 50+ as offering over 50x more protection against UVB damage than bare skin alone, on average. The SPF number is determined in a lab setting according to strict guidelines.

The skincare professionals at Artistry recommend that all consumers wear a minimum of SPF 30 daily, and strongly recommend SPF 50+ if you will be outside.

Does this formula contain SPF?
Yes. This formula is designed to deliver SPF 50+ PA++++ protection which helps minimize sun exposure and prevent future damage that can cause premature skin aging.

What is PA++++?
PA, which is short for Protection Grade of UVA, is a widely used standard when measuring a product’s ability to protect against UVA rays. It is noted using one, two, three or four plus signs – with more + signs indicating higher UVA protection. A PA++++ rating means that the sunscreen provides 16 or more times protection from UVA than bare skin, on average.

The PA rating is determined by exposing two samples to UVA rays (one sample treated with the formula being tested and one left untreated) and measuring the amount of exposure needed to cause visible pigment darkening.

It is important to note that not all markets use the PA rating system. However, Artistry scientists believe that the SPF number alone does not tell the full story of how well a sunscreen formula protects your skin, and we are proud to offer all consumers around the world formulas that help protect against both UVB and UVA exposure.

For which skin types is this formula best suited?
Artistry Future Glow Cushion Foundation is ideal for dry-to-normal skin and is also suitable for all skin types. It is a nourishing foundation with firming and anti-aging benefits.

Is this product dermatologist-tested and safe to use?
The ingredients in this foundation are considered safe for use in cosmetic products by the appropriate government agencies and based on independent scientific review. All product ingredients have been evaluated by an Amway toxicologist and deemed safe when used according to label directions. This foundation has also been dermatologist- and allergy-tested.

Is this product non-comedogenic?
Yes. This foundation is non-comedogenic. It is designed with ingredients that will not clog your pores.

Does this product follow Artistry Clean formulation standards?
Yes. As with all Artistry products, this foundation has been formulated without parabens, phthalates, mineral oil and without over 1,300 other ingredients that customers may be concerned about.

Does this formula contain parabens or other often-asked-about ingredients?
No. This formula has been effectively preserved without the use of parabens. It can be classified as paraben-free. In addition, the formula is free of cyclic silicones, sulfate surfactants, mineral oil, phthalates, and talc.

Does this formula contain animal-derived Ingirdients?

No. As with all Artistry product formulas, this foundation is free from animal-derived ingredients. The global formulas (excluding China) are Registered with The Vegan Society.

Was this product tested on animals?
The Artistry brand opposes animal testing. Our products are not tested on animals unless they are required by government regulations to do so. Furthermore, we actively support alternatives to required animal tests – going as far as supplying alternative non-animal testing methods to government agencies for consideration. Please note that the formulas sold in China are different from those sold across the rest of the globe.

What is the shelf life of this product? How long can I use it after opening?
The shelf life of the unopened product is two years (24 months). Once opened, use the product within 12 months to ensure full efficacy.

How should this product be stored?

Artistry makeup should be stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Avoid excessive heat as well as temperatures that freeze and thaw the product.

The paper carton is recyclable where appropriate facilities are available; please check locally.

Can I use this product on top of an Artistry Skin Nutrition™ moisturizer with UV protection?
Yes! To avoid foundation streaking, apply as little UV moisturizer as possible and allow it to fully absorb into the skin before applying Cushion Foundation.

How does this product fit into my current Artistry makeup regimen?
Cushion Foundation can be an essential part of a daily makeup routine. Apply Cushion Foundation after applying primer or sunscreen (allowing it to fully absorb into the skin) and before loose powder or a powder foundation.

Which shade is right for me?
Cushion Foundation is available in two shades:

• N21 – Fair and light.
• N23 – Medium and warm.

How do I know when the product is used up?
If applying strong pressure on the sponge does not capture any of the formula on the applicator, the product has been used up.

How should I care for the included applicator?
Regularly cleansing or soaking the applicator in water is not recommended for durability or sanitary reasons. If occasional cleaning is necessary, soak the applicator in water and apply a mild soap or cleanser, washing it thoroughly with water.

The applicator must be completely dry before using it again. When not in use, avoid direct sunlight and heat.
